ABOUT JOSS + J

From the second Aimee found out she was pregnant with baby #4, she couldn't wait to start shopping. She loved supporting small business shops and immediately started following all of the baby small business shops. It had been 4 years since her last pregnancy and small businesses have been taking over the corporate world.

While she continued to support small businesses, she found out she was expecting not only her fourth baby but her first daughter after her 3 beautiful boys and the browsing new shops continued. Unfortunately, little Joselyn's heart stopped beating at almost 25 weeks and following Aimee had to give birth to her sleeping daughter, April 26, 2016. She knew she wanted to do something beautiful in honor of her baby girl born sleeping into the world.

It came to her, just maybe she could start her life long dream of opening a boutique...a baby boutique. Her husband Matt was so supportive and their family encouraged her to do it. She started to contact the companies whom she had been purchasing items from, and it just took off from there. Joss + J opened their doors October 2016.

Aimee decided to name the boutique |Joss| in dedication to her stillborn daughter Joselyn, and |J| for her three boys whom are named Jayden, Julian & Jameson. A little over 2 years after the loss of Joselyn she gave birth to her second daughter rainbow baby Josephine Rayne, whom the store is also representative of with the letter J in Joss + J.

Joss + J opened its doors over 3 years ago now and has came so far. Even as far as creating their own clothing line company full of super soft sustainably made bamboo clothing and accessories all made in the USA.

Remember that every single time you make a purchase, you are supporting a small business. The boutique is full of handmade items both local and far. There are so many companies who are found right here in Gilbert, Arizona and some who are found in Canada, Australia, and even the Netherlands, all while being handcrafted and made with so much love. We love our joss tribe!
